Sasha Price

A young editor/cinematographer out of Grand Rapids, Michigan with a desire to learn and collaborate with other artists.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Compass College of Cinematic Arts, Sasha quickly made the next move to Los Angeles, California where she now works and resides.

Moving to Los Angeles is just the tip of the iceberg. With years of hands on experience it is all about progressing and getting better.

Cinematography

Aspiring to be one of the greats Sasha Price has set her dreams on creating a successful career in film cinematography. Narrative experience includes, but is not limited to, Director of Photography roles on both Thesis and Capstone productions and commercial camera operator roles for Evolution 6 Media and Video Content Manage at Studio Malibu.

Equipment

Heavy use of Red cinema cameras during her time at Compass College, Sasha is also familiar with the Arri Alexa Mini and Studio cameras as well as the Black Magic cameras.

Different shoots and ideas have taken her experience behind the camera to some incredible lengths, from mounting a Red to the side of a moving vehicle to flying drones over the Great Lakes. Sasha also has experience with the Ronin gimbal systems and the DJI drones.

Video Editing

With nearly ten years of experience, editing is more than just a job. Starting her first editing job during college and transferring those skills to the busy world of Los Angeles, editing has become one of Sasha’s strongest talents. With jobs ranging from, corporate training video, commercials, narrative stories, and social media content, Sasha has worked with projects far and wide in many directions.

Software Experience

Post production comes with another whole set of expertise to get the job done. While working on set to create the vision Sasha has also spent time after the camera watching the story complete. With heavy professional experience in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve, Sasha has also begun work with Illustrator, Blender and Cinema 4D. Also experienced in Microsoft Office.

Resizing

Much content today is consumed from the palm of one’s hand, requiring video projects to be resized from their intended viewing dimension to a cropped version that can be played on a phone or through an app. Through years of branded content and social media marketing experience Sasha has learned a fluid and efficient way to get every asset to its necessary size and safety margins.
